Cold Weather Brings 27% Bonus

The recent period of very cold weather has resulted in a high income bonus for local undertakers. A meeting of the area's funeral directors held at the Brampton parish rooms last Monday confirmed an increase of 27% in weather related fatalities over the last two months. "Vehicle accidents and other cold weather factors usually yield an upward swing in the market at this time, but this year is the best ever for business", said chuckling local expert Hubert Clutterbuck. "This cold snap has had all of us rubbing our hands and jumping with glee".
