General Scraggs on speech day, 1998 Retired millionaire and strict disciplinarian General Bernard Scraggs (69) was yesterday accused of indecent behaviour by 19 pupils at the Ladies School of Correct Behaviour at Fetlock Lane, Old Brampton, a private boarding school owned by General Scraggs. Susan Potterton (17), a pupil at the school said: "My mother was suspicious after finding that we were paid £50 a week to go to school and that the school uniform consisted of high heel shoes with fishnet stockings." She then added, "Our uniform was even more revealing." General Scraggs was well known for his fondness of high voltage 10ft barbed wire security fencing and his regular vigorous use of the cane. Our reporter contacted the school on three separate occasions by telephone but no one was available to make a comment. The case continues. ***** |
