Local scouts and guides have collected over 4 miles of string for charity! Troop leader Ms. Mavis Totway (39) said: "This is a real achievement for the children - much of the string was in quite small pieces!" Volunteers are needed to deliver the string to old people's homes in the area, and anyone wishing to help should contact Ms. Totway on Brampton 882674. *****
