Professional string impersonator Miss Gloria Semp (19) is suing both the Brampton Bugle and another top selling publication, "The Daily Reckless" (see our links page) for alleged breach of copyright. Miss Semp maintains that the two prestigious news empires have illegally used candid photographs of a personal nature (see below) that were taken privately when the model was only 15 years old. Brampton Bugle photographer Reg Snipe is adamant that the pictures "are in fact just of a piece of ordinary household string, albeit suggestively posed", and that Miss Semp is merely seeking publicity to boost her fading career. Mr. Ivor Borloff-Stravingski, Miss Semp's legal representative and author of the well known legal reference work "The Rights of String" yesterday steadfastly refused to comment, saying to our reporter, "I steadfastly refuse to comment." The case continues. *****
